This option is ideal if you want to track your shipment that's going to arrive from a sender, vendor, or supplier in pre-order situations, for example. You link customer order with a vendor ID to track it. Additionally it also helps staff to track the whereabout of an item with courier tracking URL. Follow below steps to set it up.
1. Go to "Admin > Settings > Shipping Costs" and click on "Shipment Tracking"
2. Configure your shipment sender id:
Enable Shipment Sender ID: If you enable it, in the workstations, whenever you receive an order from a customer, you need to link to a vendor ID for tracking before processing the order
Sender ID required: Make Sender ID mandatory
Sender Link: Enter the shipment tracking URL - This URL will add the sender-id that you enter, when you finalize the order.
